Behind the scenes

Wang Ru is the first China Daily reporter went to Yushu to cover the earthquake. In 2008, he was the only China Daily reporter in Gansu province to cover the 5.12 earthquake.
Wang Ru has been responsible to write features and report social news for China Daily since 2007.
